FOOD AND DRINK

We believe in wholesome real food and that good eating depends on nothing more than fine ingredients, simply cooked.
We pay extra attention to where our ingredients come from and how they are produced. There are no extra charges or up grades for better quality produce. Whenever we can we buy fresh local, seasonal food. Our meat and cheese comes from our nearby butcher and his sons (the farmers), our fresh bread and croissants from the local baker so whenever possible we are both contributing to the local area and getting hold of some of the best local produce we can. Montchavin is after all a working farm village for many months of the year.

We happily cater for meaty, veggie and vegan diets. Should you have any other dietary requirements just let us know when you enquire.

Breakfast
This is a continental affair with fresh local bread, jams, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, tea and coffee, juice.
We also serve a hot item every day, and the selection includes porridge, eggs cooked to your liking as well as english bacon and much more...

Afternoon Tea
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and fruit teas - all served with with freshly-baked cakes and/or cookies

Smoked salmon niciose, jersey royal potaoes, watercress and Irish smoked salmon

Vegetarian option
Creamy mushroom pie with marinated winter vegetables and potatoes dauphinoise
